July 13, 2009, Hotel Indigo opened its doors in San Diego. This was amidst one of the most challenging economic times the hotel industry has ever experienced. Our hotel opened as a beacon of hope in the East Village, declaring that the economy was on the rebound and we would prosper together. The East Village embraced Hotel Indigo as a neighbor and welcome member of the community by attending various events held at the hotel such as Canine Cocktails and Live After 5 (a local music series).

It is now, just over 2 years later and we are ready to tackle something new again! We are launching our new website which will begin integrating social media to a whole new level. Through this new platform, you will be able to share and learn, not only about Hotel Indigo, but also all that makes San Diego a spectacular place to live and visit!
